Our board
The Annual General Meeting appoints the Chair, who serves for two years and is renewable for up to two more years. The Chair is supported by three elected representatives drawn from the Association's membership, plus two independent members selected for their knowledge and expertise.
BCECA's day-to-day affairs are managed by a Chief Executive who is also a full member of the Board. The current Chief Executive is Tracey Shelley IEng. Tracey marked ten years in the role in 2023, joining us from the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board in 2013.

Our council
All full members are represented on the Council, which provides a regular forum for discussion, review, development, advocacy, representation and updates on matters of common interest. The Council also oversees BCECA's Standing Committees and Knowledge Networks.
