The Sponsor Guide for BCECA's 5th virtual annual conference, which returns on Wednesday 8 October 2025, is now available.
Over 400 participants are expected to join the fully online meeting. The conversation will continue into the autumn with a series of additional breakout sessions that will delve deeper into key topics raised during the conference. The findings and recommendations from the conference will be presented at a reception in the House of Lords in January 2026. A range of partnership opportunities, offering companies involved in decarbonisation and the push for next zero an opportunity to promote their product and service offer to the UK engineering contracting community, are available starting from £1,000.
BCECA's Chief Executive, Tracey Shelley, said:
"As the drive for decarbonisation picks up pace, there has never been a better time to forge new links with UK-based engineering contractors. Our 5th virtual annual conference programme offers a wide range of opportunities to promote your business to the companies that are making the energy transformation a reality.
Over 750 experts engaged with our conference programme last year. Around half of the participants held leadership positions, including senior managers, directors, and VPs across procurement, construction, HR, finance, engineering, SHE, and consultancy."
The companies under the BCECA umbrella include some of the biggest names in global engineering contracting, construction, and technology licensing. They offer a powerful knowledge base, backed by unmatched commercial, technical design, and project management expertise. Together, their UK operations generate nearly £15 billion in turnover, driven by the expertise and dedication of approximately 36,000 direct employees.
The conference will provide a detailed examination of the energy infrastructure projects required to support the drive towards Net Zero, exploring a range of topics, including the UK's progress in carbon capture and hydrogen, case studies, the suppliers' perspective, and the skills challenge. The provisional programme will be published in May 2025, and registration for the conference will open in early June 2025. The former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Lord Philip Hammond, will deliver the opening keynote.
