Andrew has worked at Worley for 14 years and is currently a Senior Project Director, leading major projects. He has extensive experience in developing project strategy and delivering process plant projects across a wide range of industries, countries, and cultures.
Previously, Andrew worked with Aker Solutions, Stone & Webster, AMEC, and Davy McKee, delivering projects in steelmaking, refining and petrochemicals, nuclear energy, mining of high-value minerals, and the oil and gas sector, both onshore and offshore. Andrew has also undertaken several government secondments supporting post-war reconstruction missions and has lectured in Europe and the USA on the unique challenges involved.
His particular interests include building high-performing teams and developing people through projects. He challenges the industry with the question: “Our people are our stock-in-trade, their skills are our product, so why are we not better at coaching, retaining and expanding our asset base?”
