Duncan is the Reform MSP for North East Scotland. He is a former oil & gas economist with more than 20 years of experience in engineering, finance & analytical roles in the energy industry.
He has a mixed professional background, starting off as an engineer with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and working offshore on the drilling side before moving to finance, becoming a Chartered Accountant, and then specialising in the economic analysis of oil & gas projects in the North Sea.
He also holds an MBA from The Robert Gordon University and an MSc in Energy Transition Systems & Technologies from the University of Aberdeen.
