LanzaJet was founded in 2020 to focus on developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) through the commercialisation of its patented Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology.
Richard leads LanzaJet's Project Speedbird in the UK, a 90ktpa SAF plant in Teesside that utilises AtJ technology. Richard brings 20+ years of experience in the energy industry with a particular focus on project delivery accross the UK, US, South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Past roles focused on all phases of a project development, including concept selection and feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, construction and commissioning.
