Benefits of Full Membership

Companies in Full Membership nominate a senior individual to participate in BCECA Council meetings. The Council debates and brings forward proposals for the strategic development of the Association and its continuing work to advance the engineering contracting sector in the UK. The Council provides oversight and scrutiny of BCECA’s standing committees and knowledge networks, their annual objectives and all Association outputs.

Full Members may send representatives to all BCECA committees, working groups and special topic meetings.  Representatives may attend, participate, take on leadership roles and have full access to all documentation and reports.

Full Members also play a role in BCECA’s undergraduate liaison work. Early-career engineers from BCECA member companies lead outreach activities, including annual industry day events at university engineering departments across the UK.

In addition, Full Member companies:

  • Provide thought leadership for BCECA’s advocacy and government affairs work on key issues affecting the engineering contracting sector
  • Invite senior individuals from other BCECA member companies to networking events
  • Shape the direction of BCECA’s industry reports and enjoy full access to the output, including the highly-regarded annual salary survey
  • Publicly identify themselves as a Full Member including a listing and company link on this website
  • Nominate representatives to relevant BSi Standards Committees
